I have to admit that I was skeptical until I got it in the mail. It's true that you can't see the display when it's dark outside, but I solved this incredibly easily by painting the back of the display with a white acrylic paint in less than 10 seconds. It sticks on the window fine as long as you clean the window first and also wet the suction cup before you attach it. The accuracy of my particular unit is dead-on. I have 2 digital thermostats in the house...When I placed this unit on top of them it displayed the same temperature as the digital thermostats, but with an added bonus to the tenths of a degree displayed. So either all 3 of the thermometers are off by exactly the same amount or all of them are accurate. I assume they are all accurate. I can't speak for battery life because I've only been using this thermometer for about a week, but so far it appears to be well worth the price. If you have to replace the battery... It is pretty accurate and has never fallen off of the window. I would give it five stars except two of the LCD segments have gone out.
