This review is from: Zoo Med Dual Thermometer and Humidity Gauge (Misc.) I was going to use this with the Zoo med nt 3 terrarium. When I first got the package the room temperature seemed slightly higher than indicated by my digital thermometer. After I installed it into the terrarium, the temperature was still showing higher than it actually was (I have 2 other independent digital thermometers installed in the terrarium at the same level and area as a back up to see if one goes whack) Next, the humidity measure was also way off, my terrarium needs to maintain high humidity (90%+) both of my other humidity measures agreed that humidity was kept at or over 90% while this product jumped between 80% - 50%. No spring type gauge is going to be perfect but these are close enough. Great for the price too. They are kind of flimsy but great for snakes. The velcro on the back is a nice touch making things easier to clean. I would buy them again. Made in China, try to don't drop it. Something that could be kind of annoying is that every 3 seconds the LCD will display the hour and after those 3 seconds will display the temperature, if it doesn't botter you (like me) you should buy it. I tested it in temperatures from 15�C to 25�C and works fine. 1 year warranty in the US and Canada. This tiny indoor/outdoor thermometer can be posted anywhere without being conspicuous but has a large display, making it easy to read from a distance. Measuring 3-1/4 by 2-1/4 inches, the thermometer mounts via two adhesive pads to a wall or window and uses an internal sensor to detect indoor temperatures. A sensor probe on a 12-foot wire connects to the thermometer and can run out from under a closed window to give accurate outdoor temperature readings as well. Temperatures are displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius and measure ranges from 32 to 122 degrees F (0 to 50 degrees C) indoors and -58 to 158 degrees F (-50 to 70 degrees C) outdoors. The unit also operates as a digital clock and alternates between showing the current temperature and time on its screen. In addition to its wall mount, the thermo-clock has a built-in stand for resting on a windowsill or desktop.
